Yes, it’s cold outside. Yes, most gardens are fast asleep.
And yet… winter might secretly be the most romantic, dramatic, and downright gorgeous season for flowers.
Here’s what we’re obsessing over in the shop right now (and what our customers can’t stop ordering):
1. Frosted Evergreens & Velvet Roses
Deep burgundy or almost-black roses nestled into fragrant pine, cedar, and frosted blue spruce. We dust the tips with eco-friendly “snow” and add silver brunia berries that look like tiny frozen moons. It smells like walking through a quiet forest at twilight.
2. White-on-White Winter Wonder
All-white anemones, ranunculus, and fluffy snowberries with dusty miller leaves and bleached pinecones. Feels like fresh snowfall in vase form. (Pro tip: add a single black anemone center for drama; customers call it the “Wednesday Addams bouquet.”)
3. Fireside Glow
Warm ambers, coppers, and spiced oranges: cinnamon-scented roses, dried orange slices, ilex berries, and glowing hypericum. We tuck in real cinnamon sticks and star anise so it smells like mulled wine and crackling fireplaces.
4. Icy Blues & Silvers
Blue thistle, silvery eucalyptus, white lisianthus, and delicate twigs sprayed in the softest icy blue. Wrap the vase in thick velvet ribbon and it’s basically Elsa’s coronation bouquet.
5. The “Hygge in a Vase”
Cream roses, café-au-lait dahlias (yes, we can still get them!), chamomile, and fluffy bunny tails with chunky knitted sleeve around the vase. Customers tell us it makes their whole living room feel like a warm hug.
6. Amaryllis Drama (because winter)
One single, perfect giant amaryllis stem in a tall glass cylinder, surrounded by bare curly willow and tiny fairy lights. Minimal, bold, and ridiculously elegant.
